Thank you to Jo from A Rose Tinted World for tagging me in this random facts about me post! This is a completely different sort of post for My Debt Diary but I thought it be fun to answer the questions.

When was the last time you cried?

I can’t actually remember, which is really nice to be able to say. This time last year, and the 24 months leading up to it when my debt built up, were unbelievably challenging and I spent a lot of that time unhappy. Things are very different now I’m pleased to say!

If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

Probably. I’m not the most exciting person, but I’d like to think I’m loyal and caring and the sort of person most people like to be around.

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Me? Sarcastic?! …yes. yes I do.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

Their openness…if that is a thing? I am quite a familiar and friendly person, so I tend to pick up on whether people reciprocate that or remain closed books.

Scary movie or happy endings?

Happy ending please. Scary movies terrify me.

Favourite smells?

Freshly washed hair, flowers in my living room, fresh air in the evening, home baking…I could go on.

What’s the furthest you’ve ever been away from home?

Hua Hin in Thailand a couple of years ago. We also visited Hong Kong on that trip, but I think the coast of Thailand is a little further away. It was an incredible trip!

Do you have any special talents?

I can sleep more than most other humans…seriously though, I’m not sure. I’m creative and have some drawing and design skills, but I don’t think that’s particularly special as such.

Where were you born?

In Glasgow, Scotland.

What are your hobbies?

Reading and drawing/painting are up there! I’m lucky that my work entails a lot of drawing so I get to spend most of my time doing something I enjoy.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

An Architect. I decided when I was 10. I spent all of high school working for my good grades and then studied for six years only to find out that I wasn’t keen on completing my qualifications in the traditional office environment. I won’t ever qualify as an Architect but I do the exact same work from home as a self-employed business owner instead.

How many countries have you been to?

Right hold on a second, I have to count. About 16 I think. I’d definitely like to visit more!

What was your favourite/ worst subject at school?

Art was my favourite, for obvious reasons. I always hated PE. Classic, not very good at running or gymnastics so miserable in every class type thing.

What is your favourite drink?

Gin is a favourite, but I also love a good beer and a nice wine too. Depends on my mood.

What would you (or have you) named your kids?

My fiance and I are were talking about this the other day. The honest answer, we have absolutely no idea. We’ll need to do some research when we have a family (fingers crossed).

Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?

There has been a lot of negativity towards her recently, but I really enjoy watching Zoella’s vlogs. She’s a lover of Autumn and Christmas, as am I, so I find them really relaxing.

Ash-MamaReid and Maisy Meow are also great down to earth Youtubers and they’re both from Glasgow!

How many boyfriends have you had?

A grand total of two. The first was a horrible guy that I went out with for a couple of months. No more than six months later I met a rather handsome chap who is now my fiance.

Favourite memory from childhood?

Playing in the back garden in summer and the build up to Christmas in winter. I had a really nice childhood.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

Lazy and comfy. I have learnt what suits me over time, so when I dress up I think I do a good job, but I spend most of my time in jeans and comfy tops. It’s just the way I’m happiest.

Tell us one of your bad habits?

Dumping my clothes on the floor at the end of the day when I’m getting ready for bed. I never hang them up. If they end up folded on the floor it’s a good day.
